Enrollment fee: $250.
Covers park funding, school materials, and a rain jacket/pants combination.

We accept WCCC and MCCYN tuition assistance. Ask us about using your benefits and the schedules currently available.

Our outdoor preschool pairs child-led discovery with familiar routines, intentional teaching, and caring relationships. Early literacy, math, movement, and social-emotional growth take shape through playing, noticing, and trying together.

Our teachers help children practice patience, confidence, and problem-solving. We believe children can do hard things—with someone beside them who believes it, too.

DCYF-licensed Outdoor Nature-Based care means state oversight and health, safety, and supervision requirements designed for learning outdoors.

  • Our Washington Outdoor Nature-Based (ONB) child care license brings DCYF oversight and requirements for staff preparation, active supervision, everyday health practices, and planning for weather and outdoor activities.

    Our 1:4 ratio is Tender Leaves’ staffing commitment, separate from general state licensing ratios.

  • Early Achievers is Washington’s early learning quality recognition and improvement system. Participation connects programs with coaching, professional learning, and tools for reflection.

    Its focus includes responsive teacher-child interactions, learning environments, curriculum, children’s learning, and family partnerships. Participation and a specific quality rating are separate statuses.

  • Our days balance connection and independence, movement and rest, gentle structure and the freedom to follow a good question.

    Follow our curiosity. Trails, shoreline discoveries, imaginative play, and hands-on learning.
